My Glowy Makeup Routine
(only takes 15 minutes!)
This is my go-to makeup routine for glowy, clear skin. When I do makeup for class, I avoid tinted SPF and highlight, but I still use the other products. This whole routine takes under 15 minutes!
Step 2: Tinted SPF
For an everyday look, I skip the tinted SPF and opt for the Elta MD SPF. However, the Ilia skin tint makes your skin look like it has a real-life filter; it is smoothing and glowy but not greasy. It's also easy to apply; I just rub it in using my fingers.
Step 3: Concealer
Next, I use the Kosas revealer and brightener concealer under my eyes and anywhere I have blemishes. To apply, I use the and Caudalie beauty elixir spray to dampen a beauty blender (so there is no cakey-ness in the makeup) and tap to blend.
Step 4: Blush & Setting Powder
For blush, I use a Sephora brush and apply to my cheekbones and nose. My favorite blushes are the MILK makeup blush in shade werk and the Tower 28 Lip + Cheek cream blush in the shade Rush Hour. For my setting powder, I use the Laura Mercier translucent powder and apply after blush.
Step 5: Brows & Highlight
The highlight I use is the Charlotte Tilbury wand in shade Spotlight (honorable mention: Rare beauty liquid luminizer highlight in shade Enlighten). I put these on my cheekbones, eyelids, nose, and right above my mouth, and then I blend out. I use the NYX control freak clear brow gel to smooth my brows.
Step 6: Mascara & Setting Spray
After my brow gel and highlight, I spray the Urban Decay setting spray all over my face. Once that's dry, I do my mascara. If I am going to class or running errands, I use the Tower 28 mascara. However, if I am going out, I will use the Telescopic mascara followed by the Rare beauty mascara.
